Yanam has a mixed culture of French and Dravidian. People of Yanam are more polite and respectable. The people of Yanam are very generous and well cultured.
It is located in the East Godavari District, which is the highest rice producer in AndhraPradesh State.
They speak Telugu language as their Mother Tongue. But, many people knows Tamil, English and French. We cand still find about 60 French Nationals in Yanam who are taking Pensions from the French Govt.
