Shri Malladi Krishna Rao, Hon'ble Minister for Toursim & LAD, inaugurated the yanam official website http://yanam.nic.in/welcome.asp in the chamber of the Regional Administrator, Yanam on 17.8.2006. Shri Gidla Chandra Rao, Muncipality Chairmna, Shri Y.L.N.Reddy, Regional Administrator, Yanam and Shri M.V.V.Subrahmanyam, Commissioner, Yanam Muncipality and all delegates of Yanam region are present in the function.
This website is designed and developed by NIC,Yanam and hosted at the server at
NIC, New Delhi.
Mr.S.Madhusudhana Rao, District Informatics Officer, NIC has given the demonstration of the features of this website. He also presented the Grameen e-Vikas Kendras (GVK) proposed pilot e-Governance Project for yanam region to
facilitate the Internet & email through wireless connectivity for all villages in yanam region.
The Minister asked to submit a detailed report on the GVK.
